It has been good weather this year for Moorgreen show-as a child I remember it always used to rain.Woodwards at Headhouse Farm Mapperley won awards for their prize goats for many years-and my dog walker won a rosette in the show jumping today!
Many years ago-well before my time , I believe it was held on Hall Park-Mansfield Road-the site of the (now) school and sports centre.
