The milk was collected from the dairy originally by the horse and carts stabled on Cromford Road And then by the electric milk floats garaged at Cromford Road.Freddie Kirk was the Transport Manager charged with looking after all the Vehicles after the war,his nephew and i used to go to the yard to get our footballs blown up prior to relacing them.
