The Crystal Palace seems to have had aits own choir!
R&H Oct 18th 1895
"On Wednesday evening a concert was given by the Heanor portion of the Crytal Palace Choir, under the leadership of Mr.F.Rowe, in the Weslyan schoolroom. There was a large attendance and a capital programme was well rendered. Miss Lynshaw was much applauded for her recitations. Mr J.Hancock presided at the organ. The proceeds were on behalf of the Heanor Weslyan and Park Street Primitive Methodist Bands of Hope."

This makes one wonder if the Crystal Palace was some kind of host to charity workers???
