Heanor Grammar School
replied on: 12/4/2005 12:16:03 AM

I've been asked to write a history of the Heanor Grammar School. Fortunately, I have a lot of help to start off with, not least the reminiscences of Ralph Stoddard, the first headmaster, and Geoff Stone, the last headmaster.

But, if anyone out there would like to assist, just let me know, or just add anything you can remember to this site - we already have a topic to cover the school teachers, but what about the building, the educational system, the non-teaching staff, the wartime changes. Any and every thing may be of help, so please add items, whether you think them useful or not.

What was the school hymn, and the school motto? (I know I have access to both those answers, but it might get the topic going!)
