Just looking around these old posts .I can remember the men playing skittles in one of the old cow sheds which was on the other side of the lane to Crick's .The building that was called Crick's was a very old property , the farmhouse I imagine , as it was very large .I can remember us kids watching the builders fixing the guttering , about 1952 , from the comfort of an old caravan ,which I think was the home to a very large Fowkes family
Marlpool estate used to be called Marlpool Farm Estate .DB
