Do you mean they married in June 1911? That would mean that their eldest son would have been born out of wedlock


It means that the marriage was registered in the June Quarter (it would take pleace between late March and before late June). Marriages are registered on a quarterly basis March, June, September and December.

But yes it probably does means that the first child was born out of wedlock. When you dig further back into your tree you'll probably find a few more :-)
