Glazebrook family
replied on: 2/3/2006 5:24:55 PM Hi everyone, this is a very interesting site, how's it managed to stay hidden so long? I'm trying to find more information about a lost ancester - Emma Glazebrook who married Richard Whitehead in Ilkeston in the 1830's -1840's. She is listed in the Ilkeston Parish register as having come from Marlpool and having been born in 1821. The census for 1851 only has the one Glazebrook family, living in Shipley. After looking at the Baptism record for Heanor from the taghill website it appears there was another Glazebrook family, this time living in Marlpool. Annoyingly, Emma is not on the St. Laurence baptism records under either family, and both families are having children at about the right time for Emma. Has anyone done any research that included the Glazebrook family that may know which of the families Emma belonged to? |
