Heanor Grammar School
replied on: 2/11/2006 7:34:37 AM

Yes, I had a meeting with him in December, and email him regularly. Yes, I still think of him as "Mr Stone" and find it quite difficult to call him Geoff!

My arrival at Heanor Grammar was until after you'd left. My view on history, is that if it was in the past, then it is history, and if it is happening today, then it will be history soon!!!! So yes, please, anything at all about the school or the area in general would be appreciated. Bearing in mind my task in relation to the history of the school, if you want to send anything direct to me in the terms of reminiscences, please feel free to do so - in some ways, it is proving easier to get "old" information rather than the more recent (though I have got loads on the reorganisation of the school, which you just missed).
