Copes Coaches-used to bring Stoneyford children to Langley Mill Girls school-they also used to transport children from the schools to Langley Baths. Don't know where their base was though

I also remember Copes bringing children to Langley Mill Boys School, those from Stoneyford had to leave school earlier because the bus carried on then to pick the girls up from Sedgwick Street or was it the other way round? this would be 1948/55 They were based at the top of Tag Hill near the top on the right No 15,Derby Road.I think it's where M.D.& B.W.Buxton are based now.Didn't they have an undertaking business later on?
I have a publication of a magazine from 1924 with an advert in it for A.Cope.Motor Engineer,of the same address. It reads TAXI'S and CHAR-A-BANCS of the best. All Cars on Super Cushion Tyres. Vulcanizing.Tyres and Motor Oils. Cars Overhauled.
