History behind the street/road names

R&H 17 Feb 1893
"The town of Heanor owes much of its growing prosperity no doubt to the energy of its esteemed surveyor, Mr John Holbrook,. This gentleman has recently removed the unsightly pit hill from Ray Street and has offered to make a new road from thence into Commonside. May I suggest the new street be called Holbrook Street and perpetuate the memory of our energetic townsman?"

Could this "new road" have been Fairview?
