Langley Mill Pottery
replied on: 3/20/2006 2:23:11 PM Heanor Observer 1904 4th Jan Whilst Mr A. Lovatt, of Edstone House, was driving two guests down from Heanor to Langley mill, with the intention of conducting them through the pottery, the pony shied at a flock of sheep in the road, and overturned the trap, precipitating the occupants unceremoniously into the road. One of the guests, Mrs Westmoreland, on holiday from South Africa, sustained a broken wrist, and Mr Albert Lovatt had a fracture of the right shoulder. Jenny |
