Further research has revealed your Nathaniel and mine are one and the same
1871 they lived at the Dumbles - (possibly transcribed Brambles-the Dumbles was a cottage near to Old greaves (now called Allgrave hall farm)
My grandfather (who was a farm servant for nathaniel at (transcribed as Quelgreaves farm) in 1881 lived in the Dumbles with his parents at one time.
