The cul-de-sac off Barber Street is Springfield Avenue.My niece lived at the bottom house on the left 15/20years ago and on the walk way you speak about a gate had been added and they had to have a key to get through down onto Hilltop.I'm not sure when Alcock & Sissons moved/packed up
