Hi Jenny,

I went to Crosshill today with a friend and scoured all the graves. I did come up with one distant-ish relative of my Clarkes, but alas, none of the closest ones were to be seen

Ah well, there are so many stones overturned the wrong way and hidden in the undergrowth, they must be hiding there somewhere!

Thanks anyway, I think my Genealogy partner in crime is going to buy James Clarke's will, so we will see what that turns up! Apparently, his grave was supposed to have the words "a gentleman" on it! Not bad for a former miner eh?

Thanks again

Mandy
