Denby Lane School

Hopefully I'll get some response, I know it's a while since the original thread.

I've just discovered my great grandma was a teacher (as I am for my sins!)

In 1885 she had a child and was stated as a school teacher then. She lived in Loscoe. Since the school on Loscoe Denby Lane only opened in 1895, where do you think she would have taught? I can't believe she would have travelled very far in those days.

Any ideas?
