William Booth
replied on: 10/18/2006 10:07:52 AM

There are two problems with the Woodlinkin family. First they have a father Samuel Booth, and secondly that William was born in 1837 which is way too early.
The other family i.e., the Castledines, have a probably illegitimate William of about the right age, but birth place not Langley Mill.
My nephew sent for the certificate of the Basford 1845 registered birth and it turned out to be a Nottinghamshire family and clearly not ours. So the only other Williams are Belper registered.
