I left school at the end of 1959 and started at Aristoc training as a mechanic on the fully fashioned machines. (Readings). I worked under Helmut Ehrhardt. Later transferred to Seamfree working under Fred Lount. 1963 moved to Charnos, then Blounts at Belper (now Aristoc)..is it still????
I spent 2 years in South Wales and came to New Zealand in 1972.
It was a shame to see that Aristoc had been demolished. As kids living around the Puzzle, we used to know it as Allens. We used to play in the ground floor garage area, until we got chased away
