Tom Carrington, Codnor and/or Heanor
replied on: 10/27/2006 8:35:49 PM

The late Tom Carrington was a well respected Schoolteacher, local councillor and football referee. He lived at Codnor during his later years.

His daughter Celia (Cox) is a councillor on Amber Valley Borough Council, and you could contact her at its headquarters at The Town Hall, Ripley, Derbyshire.

Celia was married to the late Ian Cox who was leader of the Borough Council for many years, and has a room named after him in Heanor Town Hall.
