The land was conveyed to John Holbrook by an indenture dated 28th March 1907 and was made between The Reverend Archibald Collingwood Stephens of the frst part,Mary Thompson of the second part, William Robert Thompson and Frederick Hubert Thompson of the third part and John Holbrook of the fourth part.The parcel of land contains a strip of land of the width of six feet(measuring from the side of the wall forming the boundary on the North side) Eastview Terrace (Penders Row)and is to be forever hereafter left open and unbuilt upon as a public footpath. The jitty is still there.The names in the schedule also explain the origin of the street name. |
