From Wrights 12 miles around Nottingham published 1888 quote Robert Robinson, manager at Mr Mundy's Colliery, Marlpool House unquote. That is from the entry for Heanor and district residents and their occupations.

I would take that to mean he was the manager for Woodside Colliery.

Bulmers 1895 directory lists a Robt Hy Robinson of Mundy Street as a Mining Engineer, Architect and Surveyor. Could this be Robinson jnr, with Robinson snr now retired.
