My early teens were spent in Heanor Milk bar, Elliots, Town Hall dances , Heanor Welfare -and occasionally the Rays Arms (cos they never asked your age there!) Cricks Club, Premier Ilkeston, -that was before the wages went up and Nottingham nightlife beckoned. Nightclubs opening from 2pm sat through til 2 pm Sunday! I moan nowadays cos I can't sleep - it was a bonus to be able to stay awake in those days!!!![/quote]
