Jenny,

Very mixed emotions about this, it's very true about sleeping dogs etc. What a sad sad end to a tale.
At the same time I am elated to have found out so much more information about my ancesters, all thanks to you once again Jenny. I bet you were itching to get down the library this morning though, I wish that I had that fascility.
I wondered about the reference to "Archer's death" I think it refers to a once great flat race jockey Fred Archer, who committed suicide on the 8th November 1886 at the age of 29. Only a week before this tragic incident at the King Billy.
Thanks again Jen.

Jenks
