Do you have any idea where the Calvert family
originally came from or if indeed they were
local? The reason that I ask this is as
follows:-
My wifes family name is Calvert and
although they are now Swedish, the family
originated in Scotland and moved to Sweden
in the 19th. century. My mother in law has
in her possession a 19th. century vase made
by Langley Ware which she seems to think has
some family connection, although whether this
is purely by the original factory founders name, I do not know.
