Milnhay Road

Thanks Peter (knew you'd answer that one!)

But when I was a kid (60's) there was still a wooden scout hut on Milnhay Road, between the phone exchange and the entrance to Vic Hallam's, wasn't there? Or am I thinking back to pre-phone exchange days? I actually went to cubs there for maybe two weeks!

I was told yesterday that the row of houses I was querying was called "Sparrow Row." Can anyone confirm that, as it is not a name I have heard of.

What about other old-names for streets or rows of houses.
