I am researching the NEWTON and ALDRED families of Heanor, in the 19th century. My great-grandfather was married under the name JOHN ALFRED NEWTON in 1899, but was born JOHN ALDRED, to AMY ALDRED who married HENRY NEWTON.

If anybody has any links with these people, or any furhter information, I would be glad to hear from you!
