Saxton family - Tagg Hill
replied on: 2/23/2004 2:28:55 PM

I am currently researching the Eyre side of my family -but i have discovered my grandmother Mary had a step daughter called Vernice Battison who married Archibald Saxton from Heanor and they had a son called Dawson Saxton b. abt 1948.
Also a friend is researching the Saxtons-a lot of them came from Mapperley, Derbyshire and moved to Heanor in 1860-1880's. If I find anything directly relayed to your information I will let you know via this site
