Calladine Family - Heanor
replied on: 5/22/2004 4:05:04 PM

After doing a fair amount of "digging" around I have found out that my Grandfather, Thomas Calladine first had a sweet shop on Ray Street. From there he took on a fruit and vegetable shop on Market Street somewhere in the vacinity of the TSB Bank and Pipers the Bakers. He then moved his fruit and veg shop to number 3 Market Street, Heanor.

After speaking to an Aunt she can remember the shop on Loscoe Road but doesn't think the two are related.
