Ah well, Cornishcream, that lets me out. At the time period you mention, i was only a little tyke, no doubt barely able to tell the difference between an onion and a tomato, except by the taste, i hope.

But hang about, someone, born around 1930 or so, may eventually come out with further memories of both the shop and your G-parents.
