I am so sorry to have taken so long to use this fantastic site again. without it we would not know so much about this book. I have been at uni but am now home for a bit and my mother asked me to see if i could find anything further. I have been conducting my own research but have been unable to get much further. I have also been taking photos of the pages and trying to decipher some of them further.

so far i am pretty certain that this is a young persons books as most of the entries are from children around 13 years old. this also makes sense as the schoolteachers both signed the book too.

I have compiled an almost complete list of the people who signedthe book:
A. d bailey
ella bailey (both at 'the hill' sandiacre)
H. Dora bailey
L.w bailey
Mary bailey
Ada E bailey
Elizabeth Hetcher or fletcher ('the hill'sandiacre)
Geo robinson
winifred robinson
lillian robinson
mary and john holmes
k linsey
ursina fapp
louise sisson
victoire otz
susie miller
cyril allen
lois robinson
florence crawford
lily calvert
w.h calvert
l.b calvert
Harry fisc
most of these are mentioned above but i was wondering if the others were class members and if there are any records that i can get hold of?
