New Publication
replied on: 2/14/2005 11:04:00 AM I received my copy of A Portrait of Heanor and District the other week. I read it and found it to be very interesting and can recommend it to anyone. I found a couple of photographs of great Uncles, Fred Buxton and his family and George Elliott at Mount Street Chapel. Some fabulous photos and interesting information. Ann Marie |

New Publication
replied on: 1/17/2005 1:02:10 PM Bought the New book on Friday (from Frost's), finished reading it yesterday (Sunday). I can recommend it to anyone with even the vaguest interest in Heanor. Its the best publication yet. Found a photo of my Uncle and my Old School Teachers (Aldercar). I look forward to more issues of this calibre. Keep up the high standard and I hope the exhibition finds a home soon. |

New Publication
replied on: 12/24/2004 10:58:53 AM What a day to announce the publication of our newest book - it's too late to get it for tomorrow, but you can order a copy to be sent in the new year. For full details of "A Portrait of Heanor and District 1900 - 2004" please visit the new page on the main site. I've also set up the main site now to take credit card payments for the book, via PayPal, which is a long established and secure method of transferring funds. A "must buy" for anyone interested in Heanor. |
