Her name was Sarah West, Thomas and Sarah had six children , thomas Vernon sarah jane and George, charles f, beatrice and john

Anyway looks like we are realted by marriage ...even if it is a long way back...my ancestry tree has a couple more generations for the Brough's ..I'll invite you as a family member to a have a look?

Anyone remember Duffields or Browns living on Ray St in the late '40s? I think they lived at No 104.

I used to live opposite Florrie Berrisford in number 158, my grandparents Alvah & Gerty Webster lived there in the 1940's. My great grandfather William Owen Webster died there in 1947.

Hi, Veronica. There was John? Brough, of Derby Rd; Heanor. He was a Sunday School teacher at the nearby Baptist Chapel and had been for quite a few years.
I knew him in the late 1940s-early 1950s. He had quite a pleasent charactor and was liked by many people. He lived in the row of terraced houses just above the Chapel, on the other side of the Road towards Heanor.

Hi, Nicky.
I only knew them casually, such as passing them on Market St; and saying - "Hey up".
