The guy on the corner of Prospect was named Kenny. He always seemed to be dressed in boots, dungarees, collarless shirt and jacket.
Sometimes used to see him on way to and from Clara Mount school. Tommy Kew was Headmaster and we used think something was wrong if we had not been given at least one stroke of the cane before going home.
