Robert. I'm sure we have information concerning that 'lost' author, as above.
I've seen a picture of a local author's small retirement party. He and a few other people are around a large table/desk. I also believe there was a parrot in the photograph. The photograph would appear to be dated some c.50 plus years ago.
I've searched all the Society's publications, including 'A portrait of Heanor.................', but cannot locate it. I've also searched the MAIN PART's pages to no avail. Any ideas?

The two slag heaps were at Ormonde Colliery.
