My Grandfather had a board strapped to his leg after a road accident .My recollection of him is Sitting just inside the Co-op Tailoring Door on the counter sowing suits by hand. He lived with us during the war after Grandma Died and being 4 or so recall he taught me to count Write And tell the time before i went to School.
