Don't be too hard on the poor old Cosy. I remember just before the war,on Saturday afternoons they used to tear your ticket as you went in. Their halves went into a bag and one ticket drawn out at the end of the performance. I won a selection of chocolate goodies. Just like winning the lottery. Mind you,I almost needed an escort home. Didn't know I had so many friends.
Oh, and they did have Mother Riley sometimes and Flash Gordon.
