Shown on the 1896 O.S. Map and approximately a quarter of a mile up Denby Lane, from the Loscoe end, stood 'Scarsdale House'. This stood on the left-hand side of the Lane, going up.
Searson Hos. (House?) and Scarsdale House could equal a building's name changed over the years?
