Does anyone have any knowledge of the famiyl of Edward and Ellen Shaw who lived at Loscoe and had son Thomas born c1820. Apparently there were quite a few members of this family who were in the military. I have 3 members of one family killed in WW1 and their father wrote a letter to our Defence Dept about the Shaw relatives before them who had served in British forces from Khartoum to current times ie c 1885 to 1918.
Edward Shaw was a hotelkeeper
