Also, not forgetting the old Firestation, which was situated across the road from the Cozy Cinema and adjacent to the Technical College's playground.
I can remember seeing the crew washing and polishing the 'Engine' on numerous occasions and inside the small room, it always looked (mostly) clean and spotless, till the washing down times.
