What little I know of Margaret was that she was indeed married and had given birth to a child just a few weeks before her death, a daughter I think. Her husband was very worried about the stallion that she was riding and had warned her not to ride it as she was not yet strong enough to control it.
Apparently a train sounded its whistle at the station, the horse was somewhere near the church and bolted in the direction of Heanor, Margaret tried valliently to control it but was thrown, I think into the path of an oncoming vehicle.
