Aye, we have two locations now, where that tragic accident occurred, Cameo. The Langley Mill train station and the railway crossing near the MGO bus depot.
I heard the same story though, but i heard a train was standing at the closed barriers and tooted its whistle loudly as she rode slowly over the lines and the horse went insane with fear.
If the latter IS true, could that sudden high-pitched, shrieking whistle have been thought of as a bit of 'fun' on someone's part?

Any third parties welcome.
Azzabuv.
