Even if the tale(s) don't appear to allude to this specific Well/area, it would be interesting to hear them. They may mention them/it in a misconstrude way. Your correct, Robert, it does look like Askew and Sic. Askew being a moderner form of Askeu and so on and so on............... Azzabuv.
