A further study of the 1901 census reveals
that the enumerator made 90 dwelling entries
for Mapperley and its surrondings. Addresses for the first 40 or so entries just state village with 2 exceptions entry 25 states POLICE STATION John Ford and his Family Police Constable.Entry 32 The BLACK HORSE INN
Entry 45 POST OFFICE Mary H Hart.Entry 46
SCHOOL HOUSE no one listed as dwelling there so assume this is the school.Entry 48 Manor House.Addresses now change to Park Hall.ENTRY 75 ROYAL OAK.Final entry 90 Oakfield House.
Someone with a better knowledge than i of Mapperley should be able to plot The Enumerators walk
