The large glasshouse was lavishly decorated with choice ferns and plants, and lit up with numerous lanterns. A number of ladies from Heanor, Langley, and Langley Mill presided over the tables. Subsequently, a very pleasant evening was spent, dancing being indulged in, and numerous songs being contributed by Mr. A. Naylor and others. Messrs. S. Bramley (Heanor), and Downing (Marlpool), presiding at the piano. Jenny |
