It's a small world.....

Doing some research today in the 1851 Census, adn found your family.....

2 houses in Mill Hay (now Milnhay)

1. Head - Samuel Eyre, 64 yrs, born at Pentrich, Coal Miner; Wife - Hannah, 58 yrs, @ Heanor; Daughter - Hannah, 18 yrs @ Heanor; Daughter - Martha, 11 yrs @ Heanor.

2. (Next record) Head - Samuel Eyre, 20 yrs @ Heanor; Wife - Phoebe, 23 yrs @ Eastwood; Daughter - (couldn't read this - looked like Thursy ?????), 2 mths @ Heanor.

Re your photo request, I don't know, but I will try and find out for you. I know that the Heanor History Society has a huge collection of photos, but I've never looked at them myself. There's a meeting tomorrow night, so if I get chance to ask someone, I will.

Robert
