I have not seen the article but picked up on it from the web site. My mother, Myra Elisabeth Ludlam was born at Thorpe Hill Farm, Fritchley. The farm was purchased by the owner of Deb Chemicals makers of Swarfega. Not sure of the date of purchase. The farmhouse was built in the 16th century and purchased by my grandfather Charles Ludlam.
