Mystery Tours

My father used to take the Sunday 'Derbyshire Tours' from Ilkeston MGO. My job was to count the passengers as they boarded. If less than half a bus load arrived then the trip was cancelled however I do recall on some occasions a couple of vehicles being required. I also remember the pub stop and really looked forward to the shandy (if I was lucky) and a bag of crisps with a little packet of salt in them. My father always took his PSV badge off before going in the pub as it was frowned upon to wear it on licensed premises.
