Fraid not. My father only did his driving from Ilkeston. He was employed as a coachbuilder at Langley Mill and did the driving bit as a form of overtime at the weekends and some nights. He has just retired after 50 years service and probably mended the buses on a Monday morning after the tight lanes found on the tours the day before!
