Hiya Azzabuv, try putting the address into the address bar and pressing the go button, if that makes sense. To save your fingers try "http://www.fairgrove.co.uk/index.php" without the inverted commas. The address in the initial post worked ok for me at 19:10 hrs

Cast you mind back to the early 18th century and the employment of children in mines. They were employed on the menial but essential jobs like door trapping etc. They would have come from orphanages in the cities and large towns. Micheal House School was built to educate? about 160 pupils. Assuming 3 children of school age per family that means around 50 families in the school catchment area. Think about how many families were living in the area and I would imagine there would be about 20 families within a 1 mile radius of the school.

Have a look at Ian Winstanley's Coal Mining History Resource Centre for more information on child labour in coal mines. It will raise a few eye brows amongst other things.

I would not be surprised at there being a few grusome surprises once foundation digging starts. Hopefully it will not happen but time will tell.

regards Phil
