1881 census shows
JOSEPH GILLOTT head 32 Coal Miner
ELIZA GILLOTT wife 26
WILLIAM GILLOTT son 11
MARY A GILLOTT daugh 7
CATHERINE GILLOTT daugh 4
BETSEY GILLOTT daugh 2
all born and living in Heanor
(there is also another JOSEPH GILLOTT 36, wife MARY A and their family living at Heanor.)

1901 census shows ELIZA GILLOTT age 49 born at and living at Heanor.
So maybe ELIZA's age was mistranscribed on 1881???

Marriage of JOSEPH GILLOTT registered Basford district (covers Heanor) June Qtr 1872 -dont know who he married
Also marriage of JOSEPH GILLOTT Basford dist 1879-but he married either Mary Blacket or Charlotte Saxton-possibly the latter.
How was Samuel Watson mentioned? Can you give any more info?
