Iceboy, i think the "Stick and Wheel" routine is described on the Heanor 'Past Games' Site. It was arm-aching at times, especially if you ended up with a fat car tyre or similar.

Have you ever tried an old tractor tyre. It wasn't bad once you got it moving with a brush stail and a couple of mates help. No one got in the way of the unstoppable thing and it was very interesting when the 'Immovable Object' met the 'Irrisistable Force'. It was best not to hang around at such times.
